  • Hi Karen The two courses are similar in many respects and both will provide you with a broad introduction to occupational hygiene. AIHA are partners in the international scheme and are now offering the international courses overseas. The differences between the programmes are subtle. Essentially the new international courses are intended to be suitable for teaching anywhere so are based on global practices and international standards rather than specifically US standards. You can compare and contrast the syllabi online:- W201 Basic Principles course: http://www.ohlearning.com/Files/syllabus/KA01%20v1-0%2022Apr10%20Syllabus1.pdf AIHA Fundamentals course: http://www.aiha.org/education/ce/roadcourses/Pages/fihroadcourse.aspx For the international course you can actually download the complete student manual from OHlearning.com Hope that helps clarify. Best wishes Steve

  • Quick question about the IOHA Fundamentals course - how is this course different to the AIHA Fundamentals of Indstrial Hygiene apart from it being a 4 day course? Kind regards Karen
