Course Aims and objectives:
  • Understanding techniques for assessing exposure to hazardous substances in the work place.
  • Understand how exposure information can be used to assess risk.
  • Describe general approach to risk assessment including role of exposure monitoring.
  • Select appropriate equipment to measure specific airborne contaminants and devise suitable strategy
  • Hands on training on the use of monitoring equipment used for exposure assessments
  • Present results for health risk assessment purposes to comply with relevant legislation
