W501- Measurement of Hazardous Substances

Description

After attending the 4-day training program (customized for the convenience of working professionals), the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the general approach to Risk Assessment. Risk Assessment models, including specific method of COSHH (UK) will be discussed during the training program. 
  • Develop exposure monitoring strategies and select proper methods and equipments to perform the sampling. Importance and relevance of quality assurance parameters in exposure monitoring will be discussed. 
  • Interpret exposure monitoring results and present them in a form useful for health risk assessment purposes to enable the management to comply with relevant legislations.
The participants will receive International Industrial Hygiene Certificate from British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), upon successful completion of an examination scheduled at the end of the training program.
